When collecting your cake by car, please transport the cake FLAT in either the foot well or the boot - not on a seat or on a lap - and drive carefully.
Please do not turn on the car's heater in winter and during warmer weather please use air con if you have it. Buttercream cakes are delicate and do not cope well with heat and movement.
During warm weather:
Please put your cake into the fridge as soon as possible. All cakes are supplied straight from the fridge so that they are firm for transportation. However the buttercream will soften in the car and depending on the length of the journey the cake layers may slip if the cake is not chilled at the earliest opportunity.
